Stubbs: Countess of Coningsby in the costume
- Worldwide shipping
This picture, painted by the famous artist George Stubbs in 1760, depicts the then Countess of Coningsby. She is depicted in a beautiful hunting costume, sitting sidesaddle, as was customary at the time. She and her horse are accompanied by a small lapdog, who certainly didn't actually go hunting. In the background, a beautiful English park landscape with architectural details stretches out.
The image is an 8-color giclee print on special handmade paper. It is delivered unframed. The sheet measures 33 x 29 cm.
