This beautifully hand-colored copperplate print from the Munich studio Copperprint is a real eye-catcher. The artist John Frederick Herring Sr. was one of the most famous horse painters of the early 19th century. This copperplate print from his pen depicts a scene from the then-popular mounted fox hunt. Even today, the English celebrate this form of equestrian competition, albeit without the hunting aspect.
"The Run" is a large-format print on hand-torn handmade paper. The sheet measures 64cm x 36cm. Delivery times can be 3-7 days. The image can also be purchased uncolored upon request. Please contact our customer service for details.
