This beautifully hand-colored copperplate print from the Munich-based Copperprint studio is a real eye-catcher. The artist John Frederick Herring Sr. was one of the most famous horse painters of the early 19th century. This copperplate print from his pen depicts a scene from the then-popular mounted fox hunt.
