George Wright was a well-known English painter whose main subject was fox hunting. He lived from 1860 to 1944 and was himself a passionate hunter. This is evident in his paintings, as he depicts not only familiar scenes, but also often downright comical or dangerous situations that can frequently occur during the typical English fox hunt, which seems to take place almost wildly across country.

I'm fortunate enough to have acquired a set of 10 of his hunting scenes for the coach house for sale. These are hand-colored copperplate prints. The sheets are all in excellent condition. I had the mahogany frames refurbished. The dimensions, including the frame, are 39.5 cm x 33 cm. All the frames are the same size, so I can easily imagine hanging several of them in a row.
