Stubbs : Mambrino
- Worldwide shipping
The stallion Mambrino was a very popular subject of the English artist George Stubbs. Even though the horse is placed in a landscape here, the attention to detail clearly shows that the focus was entirely on the horse's anatomy.
George Stubbs, born on 25 August 1724 in Liverpool; died on 10 July 1806 in London, was an English painter and scientist.
The image is an 8-color giclee print on 200g handmade paper. The print is framed in a hand-gilded solid wood frame and protected by glass. The framed image measures approximately 46cm x 33cm.
