Why fashion and styling will play a role for me again in 2025

Looking back, fashion used to be a much bigger part of my life. Before I moved to Bavaria and founded the Kutscherhaus Shop, a large part of my everyday life revolved around clothing, styling, and wardrobe creativity. My beginnings on Instagram actually consisted of nothing more than daily elevator selfies and outfit photos. I simply had so much fun planning outfits, combining them, and sharing my ideas.

But as is often the case, priorities shift with new projects. Especially with two small children, things sometimes have to be done quickly, without compromising on chic. The coach house has grown over the past few years and has demanded a lot of time and energy. Nevertheless, especially in the last year, I've noticed that the desire to integrate fashion and styling more strongly into my everyday life has become increasingly louder. Even in school, I liked to look chic – sweatpants and sneakers were never my thing. For me, fashion has always been an expression of personality and joie de vivre, and I'd like to share that with you more often again.

Fashion that combines equestrian culture and everyday life

One aspect that's particularly dear to my heart is the influence of equestrian culture on fashion. Many brands have emerged from the world of horse riding, bringing the equestrian style into everyday fashion. Boots over jeans combined with a chic jacket? That's still one of my absolute favorite combinations! Designers like Ralph Lauren have perfected this style and made it socially acceptable. Brands like Hermès also play with equestrian motifs—just think of the iconic silk scarves that exude history and elegance.

This mix of classic chic and the casualness of equestrianism has always fascinated me. It's a style that combines tradition and modernity, and I find it fascinating how wearable and versatile these elements are for everyday life, even if you have nothing to do with horses.

Share a passion, don't reinvent it

Now you might be wondering: Will the Kutscherhaus soon be adding clothing to its range? The answer is quite clear: No. There are already so many fantastic brands and stores that produce wonderful clothing—I don't need to reinvent the wheel. Instead, I want to share my passion for fashion in a different way. I have so much fun putting together outfits and styles, and I think that might inspire you too.

In the future, I'd like to not only write about home trends and lifestyle on this blog, but also cover fashion and styling topics more often. Inspiration, outfit ideas, and maybe even a bit of storytelling from my own closet—I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope you are too!
